Several years ago, my daughter was diagnosed with ADHD. Her diagnosis prompted me to start a journey of researching and understanding the topic. Somehow this led me to work with more and more ADHD clients, I found it easy it came naturally. After a while I realised, I also have symptoms of combined ADHD which explains why I understand my neurodivergent clients easily. Nowadays I specialise in working with ADHD clients, and supervisees, enabling, and teaching practitioners how to work with ADHD clients.
I am a trained psychotherapist, life coach and NLP practitioner with a master’s degree in Transactional Analysis with over 15 years of experience. I provide individual psychotherapy, group therapy, couples therapy and parent-child consultations working with adolescents and adults.
I started counselling as a teenager supporting other teens in trouble, dreaming one day, I would build my own practice and become an accredited psychologist.
I create a safe space to explore the many sides of life that have led to current struggles. I believe in a holistic approach to therapy. I feel there is a strong connection between the mind & body. My work is to empower my clients to actualize their full potential mentally & physically, whether it be related to their self-image, their relationships, their careers, their hobbies or whatever healthfully contributes to their happiness.
My approach is holistic a combination of interactive and relational methods, integrating talk therapy with mind-body awareness and Mindfulness Meditation for those open to it. With a background in Hypnosis and NLP, I have a strong understanding of the internal struggles and external stressors for clients in creative occupations though all are welcome.
